KS1 Games and Quizzes

Miss Matthews and Miss Hateley

During our time in games and quizzes, we have played lots of board games which has increased the children’s competitive sides! We have played in teams, in pairs and sometimes independently. Within the group, lots of positive, new friendships have been made through playing games collaboratively. The skill of being able to share has been taught in this club, with many learning that sharing is a vital skill that they need to learn. Some children have found new games that they really enjoy such as Hangman, snakes and ladders and Connect 4. Others have created their own games and tested them out on their peers.

We have also completed a quiz which has increased our teamwork skills. We have worked in teams to compete against each team to win house points and class dojos.

We would like to update and increase the numbers of some of the board games so if any could be donated to the school, this may be a big help to both KS1 and KS2 games and quizzes.
