KS2 Film Club - Autumn 2023

In film club this term, we have been focusing on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the old film and the newer version. We read parts of the book and discussed the characters, stories and actions before watching that part in the two films. 

The children were eager to discuss the films, particularly the newer one. They found some of the scenes in the older version hard to comprehend because of its age, so those scenes were discussed too.

They were particularly good at asking questions when they didn't understand, which helped all of the group with comprehension.
