Spring Term 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all parents and carers for your continued support over the past term. It has been a very busy one for the children, staff and parents and I know that everyone is well and truly ready for the Easter break.
We would like to wish Miss Yoncaci happy celebrations as she gets married over Easter and will return as Mrs Stephenson (although her class have voted to remain known as 6AY!)
Children can wear their summer uniform after Easter - please see our website for the Uniform Policy if you are unsure of any items.
We hope you all have a happy, safe and enjoyable Easter and we will see you when the children return on Monday 28th April
Happy Easter!
Mrs Arnold and all the staff
Easter Service at Beacon Church

Thank you to our Year 3 children and School Choir for the lovely Easter Service at Beacon Church this morning. The children sang beautifully and gave us a lovely start to our Easter Celebrations
Thank you to all the family and friends who joined us and Rev Chris for the warm welcome.
Spring Discos
Children enjoyed our KS2 discos last week! They had so much fun dancing, singing and socialising with their friends - it was lovely to see!
Nursery Easter Bonnets
What a lovely time the children had showing proud parents their Easter Bonnets earlier on this week.
Thank you for all the efforts made with these Easter bonnets and thank you to parents for joining us!
Achievement Assemblies
Our Achievement Assemblies went ahead this week where we celebrated childrens achievements across the school from Nursery up to Year 6. We saw the entries and winners for the Easter Egg/Poster competition, heard all about our KS2 athletics and football achievements, our attendance award and team point winners. We heard songs from the Easter Service and shared memories of the Dance Festival and Discos.

Our Achievement Winners - those children who have demonstrated that they can follow our 3 Rs - Responsibility, Respect and Readiness to Learn - were:
Year 1 - Ruby
Year 2 - Michael
Year 3 - Lottie
Year 4 - Evelyn
Year 5 - William
Year 6 - Ola
Well done to you all and very well deserved!
School Council Bear

When the School Councillors visited our Walsall Mayor back in February, he kindly gifted our school with a teddy bear for us to keep. Our Children voted for the name of the school council Bear and for a place for it to live. The votes have been collected and in and the results are in!
Fluffy is now in Nursery and will be making it's way to Reception next! Our chair (Simreet Y5) and vice chair (Annie Y2) will move Fluffy from class to class - and hopefully keep track of him!
Reflexions are pleased to announce that they now have an Instagram page!
Here you can find information for our upcoming events, service updates and much more! |
